Does brushing your teeth with your weaker hand help train your brain?

Our daily routines and behavior comprise a number of habits each of us has developed as we’ve grown older. As such, performing these habits, like brushing our teeth or manipulating a computer mouse for instance, do not demand much in the way of brain power given that performing these highly familiar habits comes almost automatically to us.

So can we in fact train our brains to readapt?

Absolutely. To effectively train your brain it is important to try and break these routines. Doing so forces your brain to work harder and readjust the way in which it develops new behavioral patterns, like brushing your teeth with your weaker hand. Try it.
